Macbeth Act 1 Summary

The three witches chant of the beginning for a spell on Macbeth that he’ll become king of condour. Duncan’s men report to him covered in blood Quote: “The merciless Macdonwald worthy to be a rebel, for to that the multiplying villainies of nature do swarm upon him from the western isles of kerns and gallowglasses is supplied” End quote. Then back to the three witches where the first witch ask the second witch where she had been and she replys saying killing swine after that the witches chant again 2nd witch: I’ll give thee a wind

1st witch: Th’ art kind

3rd witch: And I another

1st witch: I myself have all the other, and the very ports they blow, all the quarters that they know I th’ shipman’s card I’ll drain him dry as hay sleep shall neither night nor day hang upon his penthouse lid weary sev’nights, nine times nine, shall he dwindle, peak and pine. Through his bark cannot be lost, Yet it shall be tempest-tossed. Look what I have.

Later Macbeth encounters the 3 witches and kills King Duncan too become king but he regrets it.
